About Hand Surgical Associates

We are specialists in the care of the symptomatic hand and elbow. Our team is headed by board certified Orthopaedists who have completed Hand Fellowships and have a certificate of added qualifications in Hand Surgery. Our practice is limited to problems of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. This includes reconstructive surgery for arthritis, tendon, nerve and bone surgery. We are members of the teaching staff at the New England Baptist Hospital, at the Tufts University Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship and at the New England Baptist Bone and Joint Institute. We have participated in many conferences and lectures and written on many subjects regarding Hand Surgery. 

In 1999, after over 30 years of taking care of hand problems, we opened the Hand Center at the New England Baptist Hospital. This enables us the provide comprehensive services for your hand problems. We have a team approach involving physician assistants, hand surgery fellows, hand therapists, and radiology. All are specifically trained to help in the care of your hand and upper extremity problems. 

We participate in most insurance plans. Questions regarding your insurance should directed to your insurance company and necessary referrals arranged through your primary care physician. Please bring all referrals to your first appointment. Payment, including co-payment, is expected at the time of service.
